Nigerian troops deploy to Gambia
The Nigerian Air Force has airlifted 198 troops to Gambia to support an ECOWAS mission. Air Marshal Sunday Aneke oversaw the deployment, which aims to bolster regional stability and security operations. The troops are scheduled to join existing international peacekeeping contingents stationed in the country.
