China releases detained underground church pastor
Chinese authorities have released pastor Jin Mingri from prison following months of detention. The release comes shortly after President Trump personally raised the case during communications with Chairman Xi Jinping. Jin, a leader of the Zion Church, had been targeted as part of a broader state crackdown on unregistered religious organizations.
