ISWAP gunboat operator surrenders in Nigeria
A suspected Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) militant, identified as a gunboat operator, has surrendered to military forces in Borno State. The individual turned himself in to troops operating near the Lake Chad region. Military intelligence is currently processing the defector for operational information regarding insurgent logistics.
