Ladakh launches Pashmina sector incentives
The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh has approved two initiatives aimed at boosting the Pashmina textile sector. The new measures include an incentive program for livestock development and the establishment of a revolving fund to support local herders. By strengthening the supply chain, officials aim to enhance the global competitiveness of Ladakh’s premium wool production.
