South Africa denies Nigerian property compensation
The South African government, represented by Minister Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, has confirmed there will be no compensation for Nigerian citizens who abandoned property while departing the country. Nigerian officials, including Temitope Ajayi, have been pressing for restitution following various regional tensions. Pretoria maintains that no legal grounds exist for the requested financial payouts.
