Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected Russian claims that Moscow’s forces have captured the key eastern town of Kostyantynivka, asserting that fighting remains ongoing. The Russian defence ministry had previously declared the town seized, following a wider pattern of territorial claims in the Donbas region. In response, Kyiv reportedly launched drone strikes targeting Saint Petersburg.
