Iraq nears final cabinet selection
Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi announced that the formation of the new Iraqi cabinet is entering its final stages. The government is currently coordinating with the Coordination Framework to finalize ministerial appointments ahead of a mandatory parliamentary confirmation vote. Baghdad is currently working to secure a stable coalition to address pending legislative reforms.
